- Sheet size and thickness
- Plywood is sold in 8 x 4 and 7 x 4 ft sheets from 4 mm to 25 mm. Size and thickness on each line are how the carpenter checks delivery.
- Grade and IS standard
- MR, BWR and BWP / marine plywood differ in glue and price. Interior contractors often need the IS 303 or IS 710 marking recorded for their clients.
- Sheets and square feet
- Many dealers price per square foot but stock by sheet. Showing both prevents disputes when an invoice is checked against the order.
- Brand and batch
- Branded plywood carries warranties that need batch and invoice details. Batch numbers help in claims against delamination.
- Carpenter / contractor reference
- Dealers often bill homeowners while the order is placed by a carpenter. Recording the carpenter or contractor name supports loyalty schemes and dispute resolution.
- Hardware lines
- Hinges, channels and handles are sold with plywood. Listing them separately with their own HSN keeps the HSN summary clean.
- Laminate design and finish
- Laminates are sold with plywood and identified by catalogue design number and finish (gloss, suede, texture). Recording these lets the carpenter reorder an exact match when a sheet is short on site.
- Warranty registration number
- Premium plywood brands offer long warranties against borer and delamination, registered against the dealer invoice. A warranty number field makes claims possible years later.
