Acceptable Use Policy

You must not use the Site or the software to

• Create invoices, receipts or tax documents for transactions that did not take place, or to evade GST, VAT, sales tax or any other tax.
• Impersonate another business or person, or use a GSTIN, TRN, VAT number or bank account that is not yours.
• Send spam, bulk unsolicited messages, or payment reminders to people who are not your customers.
• Upload malware, attempt to access other accounts, probe or overload our systems, or bypass rate limits and security controls.
• Scrape, copy or republish our content, prices or product screens without permission.
• Submit false details in our forms, or submit forms on behalf of someone who has not asked you to.
• Infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy, or post unlawful, defamatory or abusive content.

Your responsibilities

• Keep your login details confidential and tell us immediately if you suspect misuse.
• Make sure the tax rates, HSN/SAC codes and registration details you enter are correct; the software calculates from what you provide.
• Obtain consent before sending marketing messages to your own customers, as required by the laws that apply to you (for example TRAI regulations in India, TCPA in the US, PECR in the UK).

What we do about violations

We may warn you, suspend or terminate access, remove content, and report unlawful activity to the authorities. We may also recover costs caused by the violation. Where possible we give notice and an opportunity to correct the issue first.

Reporting abuse

Report suspected abuse to grievance@billingsoftware.co. We acknowledge reports within 24 hours.
